As with Botox, dermal fillers are injected underneath the skin's surface to plump tissue and create a smooth and natural effect which will take years off you. Typically, they are comprised of natural acids which already exist within the human body, which, when placed in tiny amounts underneath the skin's surface, provides a long lasting and instantaneous youthful result.
Dermal fillers can be used to smooth out the unsightly lines between the nose and the mouth, nasolabial folds, and lines and cracks around the lip line. Additionally, they can be used to plump up lips beautifully, giving a more defined lip line, and fuller upper and lower lips. They can also be used to fill out the lines and wrinkles on the forehead and around the eyes.
The number of sessions needed depends upon which filler you use, the effects which you wish to achieve, and the type and age of your skin. Some people need only one treatment to achieve their optimal results, whereas others may need a course of treatments.
